Elvis Warning!

Hello, I made this card with a new Elvis stamp I got for Christmas. I think it turned out pretty snappy.

The stamp is from Cornish Hertitage Farms. They have a lot of realistic Elvis stamps in their collection.

Happy Birthday Laura (and Elvis)!

Today is Laura's birthday! [insert singing here]

Please visit her blog, http://stampart.blogspot.com/, and wish her a happy birthday.

She's a great crafter, card maker and most of all a fabulous friend. She loves my dog, is really funny and shares my obsession for figuring out the subtle references within Oceans 13. She'll teach me stuff even if I don't make her dinner - but I have to eat so what the heck.

So - to Laura I wish much happiness and loads of new creative things in her future.

Of course, I can't forget it's also the King's birthday. If you want to see the Elvis birthday festivities go to http://winter.elvis.com/livecam/ for the live Graceland cam (you gotta love that!)

Hey everyone, this is a card I made for a Splitcoast VSN (virtual stamp night). I love the background of maryjane shoes - but then again - there is no bad shoe (or shoe stamp).

Also, it's an ode to my Ladies Night Out friends - and a commitment, dare I say resolution, to seeing them more in 2009!

New cards to be posted soon - I promise.

Enjoy - Chrisi

A holiday trip ....

This is the historic Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. This stop was part of a holiday trip I took with my sister. This house is amazing in general, but at Christmas - WOW. Check out more at http://www.biltmore.com/

The best part wasn't the tourist stuff - it was seeing old pictures at grandma's house, traveling with friends and family and catching up with a dear friend of mine that has moved there.

I'm finally seeing Asheville with adult eyes and it's great! I recommend both the regular parts of A'ville as well as the touristy stuff.

More soon - Chrisi
