We have both been “good”, working at home, only go to grocery store, ALWAYS wear a mask. We are playing with our Vitamix Machines and making amazing things such as fresh strawberry ice cream, hummus and a few other goodies.</p><p>We’ll be putting together some of my Stampin Up card kits too! If you want want go to www.chrisi.stampinup.net </p><p>Be safe, wash your paws and keep in touch,</p><p>Chrisi</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuP1JD_SYPnF8eNkDrWQLa7Ne8GcEmioV5KHA9JKRXh3KwgrXzHgwvmkl-X_Ou8vtMgsVY9qBUEViE856jpTt_gznxZm-CXZBm6XhOo33YQMR_fwAlJ3CHVcrPbx7m1l27kMHGKdyYxtE/s4032/20200821_170744.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="1960" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuP1JD_SYPnF8eNkDrWQLa7Ne8GcEmioV5KHA9JKRXh3KwgrXzHgwvmkl-X_Ou8vtMgsVY9qBUEViE856jpTt_gznxZm-CXZBm6XhOo33YQMR_fwAlJ3CHVcrPbx7m1l27kMHGKdyYxtE/s640/20200821_170744.jpg" /></a></div><p><br /></p>Chrisihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06835248632410082885noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5569135472604496597.post-27698090410257420482020-06-20T13:15:00.001-04:002020-06-20T13:15:01.771-04:00de Quervains & life as a crafter<br /><div><br /></div><div>Hello friends, </div><div><br /></div><div>I decided to start my blog back up — then THIS flairs up. Well now I know it’s been TOO long. I’m a crappy blogger and I’m sorry. <br />
<br />
That said, I want to do better. I want to BE better. <br />
<br />
I’m still a Stampin Up demonstrator and would love you to check out the new stuff at www.chrisi.stampinup.net<br />
<br />
I’m still a pup mom to now one named Charly. She’s 2 years old and ADORBS. Pix below of before and after grooming. She has angry eyes, but she’s not really mad .... I don’t think.<br />
<br />
YOU, those who follow me, I hope you’ll still with me while I keep trying this and I am hoping to do more crafting during these strange, strange times of COVID19, civil unrest and social distancing. <br />
<br />
Thanks - Chrisi<br />

<br />
Again sorry it's been so long since I've posted. I'm crafting but my home PC is XP and it's not replaced yet - and the iPad, while cool, not so friendly with the blog posting!<br />
<br />
I'd like to invite my friends to join me in the Paper Pumpkin experience. It's a monthly paper crafting kit. You get a project that will take you less than 30 minutes to complete. It comes with a small set of stamps each month. I think it's going to be a blast!<br />
<br />
You can sign up at my personal Paper Pumpkin page:<br />

Hello,<br />
<br />
This is another card I made at the Cabin Weekend! It's made with INCHIES and a black and white theme. It's a lot of layers and setup up but creates a nice card. <br />
<br />
To get the dots only on the top and bottom of the matted card I had to run it thru both directions w/ the Big Shot and embossin folder. SO worth the effort tho - <br />
<br />
I love the result.<br />
<br />
Enjoy - Chrisi <br />

<br />
I've been missing and I'm sorry. I have been crafting and thought I'd share a few things I've either made or are making lately. If anyone is out there ... leave a comment and I'll send a little surprise to one or two.<br />
<br />
I'm making a scarf with the new Starbella yarn - which is very netty.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0sjYyV03gxRNYC7BTKRPvdk3MNVHBDCFieyhw_jjBXg_-wizGlsIb7QiX6a8Of2FU4VAeY8qqjHzbBmmTE7k7P1AIHraQb5WFzex-Hc9U0eG69k_D-B6hz2ZAqV6cyU0qvlqnqEhHb4k/s1600/Starbella+Yarn.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; cssfloat: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" kea="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0sjYyV03gxRNYC7BTKRPvdk3MNVHBDCFieyhw_jjBXg_-wizGlsIb7QiX6a8Of2FU4VAeY8qqjHzbBmmTE7k7P1AIHraQb5WFzex-Hc9U0eG69k_D-B6hz2ZAqV6cyU0qvlqnqEhHb4k/s320/Starbella+Yarn.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
You use the non finished side to crochet from and it gets kind of lacy as you chain down the yarn. Cool huh?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9WtHTxp2UA6G81v5aESMBuFHvAATNoGFnawy2oEw4A3FE_HiaDofbwxcx9QtpzvbAun8qN1Ak5WnZot1By8NbdakJdrmTShXm9pvQrHjuG2-NSS2mXwHugnxqtPIOTKtqK05qxumuwXc/s1600/Pope+Pix.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; cssfloat: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" kea="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9WtHTxp2UA6G81v5aESMBuFHvAATNoGFnawy2oEw4A3FE_HiaDofbwxcx9QtpzvbAun8qN1Ak5WnZot1By8NbdakJdrmTShXm9pvQrHjuG2-NSS2mXwHugnxqtPIOTKtqK05qxumuwXc/s320/Pope+Pix.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
These cards are goodies I made at a recent weekend at the Scrapbooking Cabin in WVa. It was a great time and very productive.<br />
<br />
Hope to post more of what i made that weekend in the next few days.<br />
<br />
Soon - Chrisi<br />

So then I wanted to practice. I made eight.<br />
<br />
I learned to connect them and my aunt suggested that I go around w/ a single crochet to finish it off. GREAT idea! That made it look finished.<br />
<br />
I think that for my first, it came out darned good. I used tutorials on You Tube by Mikey of The Crochet Crowd. Great knitting and crochet patterns.<br />
<br />
Enjoy!<br />

Hello,<br />
<br />
It's been too long! It's a 2012 goal to post more.<br /><br />This is a Christmas surprise for my sister (shh don't tell her - she'll get it tomorrow).<br /><br />It's a wreath made of Crayola Crayons. It took about 110 crayons and they are glued to a pressboard wreath form. The ribbon is glued to the front and I haven't figured out what type of hanger to put on the back. It is heavier than I thought it would be.<br />
<br />
I hope you (and my sister) like it!<br />
<br />
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!<br />
