Happy Day!

Hello,

This is another card I made at the Cabin Weekend!  It's made with INCHIES and a black and white theme.  It's a lot of layers and setup up but creates a nice card. 

To get the dots only on the top and bottom of the matted card I had to run it thru both directions w/ the Big Shot and embossin folder.  SO worth the effort tho -

I love the result.

Hello Friends,

I've been missing and I'm sorry.  I have been crafting and thought I'd share a few things I've either made or are making lately.  If anyone is out there ... leave a comment and I'll send a little surprise to one or two.

I'm making a scarf with the new Starbella yarn - which is very netty.

You use the non finished side to crochet from and it gets kind of lacy as you chain down the yarn.  Cool huh?

These cards are goodies I made at a recent weekend at the Scrapbooking Cabin in WVa.  It was a great time and very productive.

It became a scarf....

Hello, I made one granny square to see if I could learn how.  So then I wanted to practice.  I made eight.

I learned to connect them and my aunt suggested that I go around w/ a single crochet to finish it off.  GREAT idea!  That made it look finished.

I think that for my first, it came out darned good.  I used tutorials on You Tube by Mikey of The Crochet Crowd.  Great knitting and crochet patterns.

Look - I Made a Granny Square!

Hello, I learned to crochet a granny square on Sunday.  I've now made eight of them and connected them to make a scarf.  I'm now going to edge the whole thing in grey and then I'll posted n updated pix.
